Sharing my WiFi with a Neighbour

Internet hosts are expensive, so is it necessary for two households to be shelling out for a expensive plan each.

Would your downstairs neighbour use your fibre broadband? You could make money from nothing by sharing it.

Fibre broadband could be anything around the £50/month mark. So even if you split that with your neighbour. £25/month  = £300 annually. For no extra work!

£300 – a weekend in the sun!

If sharing does worry you, many routers support something called “guest access”, it does some of the network isolation we’re looking for automatically. Simply give your neighbors access to that “guest” network and you remain on your own private network.
